Christophe Violland

A professional musician (Pianist – Arranger – Composer), Christophe Violland multiplies his experiences on stage and in the studio, notably alongside Andrew Strong: “The commitments”, Mark King: “Level 42”, Jeanne Mas, Jil Caplan, John Yalley, Doudou N’Daye Rose, etc.

At the same time, he developed multiple personal projects: “Le Tentet au Carré”, “Herbin  plays  herbie  +  C  Violland  Orch”,  “Les  Violland  Scarabées”, “Nikédjé”, “Tribute four Strings”, “2 Piano Strings Project”, “B.A.B” and now “The Barry White Tribute Paris”.

Each project has its own musical style, ranging from Jazz to Classical Music, including Funk, World, Afro, Pop, etc.), offering orchestrations for small to large groups.

Christophe Violland teaches arranging at UPEM (University of Paris Est Marne La Vallée). Also a Photographer and Painter (Pop Art / Street Art style), his work is the subject of numerous publications and exhibitions in Europe.
